Flybe signs disaster recovery deal
12.11.07
Dealing with a business crisis should be a little easier for regional budget airline Flybe after it signed a contract with a Devon firm to handle its disaster recovery. The Exeter Airport based airline has signed a 3 year deal with Back2business (b2b) to provide business continuity services.
Legislative requirements means Flybe must remain in control of all key operations such as flight-tracking systems, maintenance reports and critical data, even in the event of a problem at its offices such as problems with access to premises due to flooding, failure of a critical server, IT failure or a power outage. With this new agreement with b2b in place they believe that they have all these eventualities covered.
