Flybe announce 16 new routes

Flybe has announced an expansion involving 16 new routes for next summer. Birmingham, Exeter, Gatwick, Guernsey, Jersey, Manchester and Southampton will gain new services. New destinations include to regional France and Verona in northern Italy as the airline schedules 3,738 summer flights a week.
New summer routes include:
- Birmingham: Avignon(3 x week), Bordeaux (4 x week), Limoges (3 x week) and Rennes (3 x week)
- Guernsey: Edinburgh* (3 x week) and Belfast* (2 x week)
- Jersey: Once weekly Prestwick and Durham Tees Valley
- Gatwick: Limoges (3 x week)
- Manchester: Avignon (2 x week), Bergerac (3 x week) and Limoges (3 x week)
- Southampton: Verona (weekly)
Chief commercial officer Mike Rutter said: ‘In an environment in which other airlines are withdrawing services, we’re delighted to be offering close to 4,000 summer flights a week including 16 brand new routes. We are committed to ensuring that Flybe offers an extensive range of affordable quality flights to the widest possible range of attractive destinations.’
