New Birmingham Airport hotel opens today

Just in time for the busy summer holiday season, a trendy looking new Holiday Inn Express near Birmingham Airport will open its doors today (July 7th), the Birmingham Mail reports. Following a £5.3 million conversion of an empty and run down office block, the new airport hotel has created 24 jobs and is now ready to welcome guests.
Located four miles from the airport, the hotel on Coventry Road in Yardley has 83 bedrooms and secure parking. Developer Harj Mattu hopes the hotel will be popular with business people, as well as those attending concerts at the NEC and passengers taking flights in and out of Birmingham Airport.
