Birmingham Airport launch information roadshows
07.06.11
Managers from Birmingham Airport are hitting the road to keep householders in touch with its plans and current operations. Staff from its community relations programme are to carry out a series of roadshows at a dozen venues near the airport over the summer to discuss residents’ concerns such as the night flying policy, which is currently being reviewed.
An airport spokesman said: ‘For several years, Birmingham Airport has operated a programme of outreach sessions in communities most affected by our operations. Each session lasts for two hours and aims to provide residents with the opportunity discuss any issues or concerns they may have.’
