Iraq flights to take off from Birmingham Airport

Flights to Iraq are to take off from Birmingham Airport. Swedish travel operator Aer Olympic, which already serves Iraq from Gatwick, will operate weekly departures on an alternate basis to the cities of Erbil and Sulaymaniyah via Stockholm.
Flights depart Birmingham every Tuesday at 08.15, serving Erbil and Sulaymaniyah on alternate weeks. The new route provides the Midlands’ Iraqi-Kurdish population with a direct link to the region.
