Weather hits Belfast flights
31.03.10
Bad weather in Northern Ireland hit flights at Belfast International Airport, as snow falls of up to 50cms in some areas were reported. A number of flights from Belfast International were cancelled last night and further disruption is expected today after the airport was closed overnight.
Flights affected last night were the easyJet departures to Stansted, Bristol, Liverpool, Newcastle and Glasgow. The 22:10 easyJet flight Stansted was also cancelled, with a number of other planes diverted to other airports. The Met office is predicting more heavy rain and snow with biting gales today.
