Man charged over Belfast Airport drugs find

A 38-year-old Belfast man has been charged with attempting to smuggle around four kilos of cannabis with an estimated street value of £40,000 into the UK via Belfast International Airport. UK Border Agency officers discovered the drugs in luggage taken off a flight from Amsterdam to Belfast on Monday.
The man was arrested and questioned at Antrim Police station. He was bailed to appear before Antrim Magistrates' Court on 28 December.
