Jail for Belfast Airport drug smuggler

A man has been jailed for two years for trying to smuggle more than 13kg of cannabis into the UK through Belfast International Airport.
Philip Stuart Page, 21, who is originally from Shrewsbury, but had been living in Spain, was arrested in August 2007. A search of his bags after he flew in from Alicante found cannabis resin with a street value of more than £38,000.
Mr Page was jailed at Antrim Crown Court yesterday for knowingly being concerned with the importation of Class C drugs.
