easyJet celebrate 25 millionth Belfast passenger
25.08.09
The 25 millionth passenger carried by easyJet since it launched flights from Belfast International Airport will today get a present from the airline, the Belfast Telegraph reports. The airline has calculated the person will be one of the passengers booked on its 14.50 flight to Luton - the destination of its first flight from Belfast International almost 11 years ago.
Carly Brear, easyJet UK commercial manager said: 'We were the first airline to bring low-fares travel to Northern Ireland. Our aim has always been to provide significant choice, flexibility and affordable travel to people across the region.'
‘We have undoubtedly been successful in achieving this and I would like to say a big thank-you to the travelling public who have made us Northern Ireland's favourite airline. Passenger 25,000,000 will get a big bottle of Champagne and two tickets to any easyJet destination of their choice.'
