Plane busts tyre on Belfast City Airport runway

A plane burst a tyre at Belfast City Airport this morning, the airport has said. The front tyre of a private light aircraft, carrying four passengers and three crew, burst as it was taxiing to a stand.
An airport spokesman said the runway had not been closed, and no-one on the flight from the Isle of Man had been injured. One flight was affected but service has returned to normal, he added.
