easyJet switches route to Belfast City Airport

easyJet is to move one of its routes from Belfast International Airport to the Belfast City Airport from early next year. Its twice-daily service to Luton will switch to the City Airport on January 7.
The budget airline said in a statement that, if the move was successful, they would consider ‘additional routes over time’ from the city site. However, it added that the bulk of its operations would remain at Belfast International Airport.
