Ryanair praise Belfast City Airport

Belfast City Airport was yesterday hailed as the most punctual airport by Ryanair after it offered the top turnaround times in the UK, the News Letter reports. Over the last nine months the budget airline said the airport had been in pole position six times, making it Ryanair’s most punctual base.
A Ryanair spokesman said the performance had helped underpin the its position as Europe’s most punctual airline with 88 percent of flights arriving on time. She said: ‘We are delighted to confirm that between November 2007 and August 2008, 94 percent of Ryanair flights at Belfast City Airport were on time.'
