Ryanair flight diverted to Belfast Airport

A Ryanair flight travelling from Luton to City of Derry Airport had to be diverted to Belfast City Airport this morning due to technical difficulties.
An Airport spokesperson said: ‘There was a fault with a specific landing aid and this, along with the weather, resulted in the diversion. The passengers on the Luton - Derry flight were taken by bus from Belfast to Londonderry.'
