Flybe scraps Aberdeen Airport flights plan

We have been sharing this with our website users for the last few months. Below we provide information on the most popular car parks at smaller / regional UK airports (based on bookings through their website) for January 2006 were - click on any of the links for more information on that car park:
Aberdeen Airport: the off airport Airpark Aberdeen airport parking beat the on airport long stay car park (the Flightpath Aberdeen airport parking) to take the top spot for the 10th month running. Flightpath was top for the first 3 months this year. Aberdeen Airpark is ahead of NCP on a year to date basis too.
Belfast International Airport: Cosmo Belfast Airport parking, the second on airport car park took top spot from the low cost / off airport Killead Lodge Belfast airport parking in October and retained it for November, December and January. BCP also offer parking at the main Belfast on airport long stay parking, which is another popular choice at Belfast airport. On a 13 months to date basis it is Killead Lodge followed by Cosmo and on airport long stay.
Birmingham Airport: APH Birmingham airport parking retained top spot from Airparks Birmingham airport parking in January. Birmingham Airport Meet and Greet Parking is also a popular choice, with the three car parks in the same order for the 13 months to date.
Bristol Airport: a change this month, with Park and Ride Bristol airport parking top followed by the Old Chaff Mill up two in to second, then the renamed Park and Fly Bristol airport parking (formerly Silver Parking) down one to third and then standard long term car park (Bristol on airport parking).
Cardiff Airport: Airparks Cardiff airport parking retained top spot from Novembers top car park, Cardiff airport long term parking. Highwayman Cardiff airport parking was a busy third as usual. On a 13 months to date basis it is Airparks, on airport then Highwayman.
East Midlands Airport: no change at East Midlands - Airparks East Midlands airport parking retained the top spot, followed by Prestige East Midlands airport parking (a businessman's favourite), then East Midlands on airport long stay parking and the Executive Mid Stay East Midlands airport parking. On a year to date basis it it Airparks followed by Prestige, then On Airport Long Stay and Executive Mid Stay.
Edinburgh Airport:
1. Flying Scot Edinburgh airport parking - no change
2. Secure Air Parks Edinburgh airport parking - up 1
3. Park and Fly Edinburgh airport parking - down 1
4. NCP Scotpark Edinburgh airport parking - no change
5. Meet and Greet Edinburgh airport parking - no change
6. Meteor Edinburgh on airport parking - no change
As ever, no big changes at Edinburgh airport this month. On a 13 months to date basis it was Park and Fly, Flying Scot, Secure Airparks, NCP Scotpark, Meteor then Meet and Greet.
Glasgow Airport:
1. Flying Scot Glasgow airport parking - up 2
2. NCP Flightpath Glasgow airport parking - up 2
3. Direct Glasgow airport parking - up 2
4. Airpark Glasgow airport parking - down 2
5. Security Glasgow airport parking - up 1
6. Park Safe Glasgow airport parking - down 5
All change at Glasgow airport, with last months top car park, Parksafe - top for the last three months - dropping to bottom spot. Flying Scot was the cheapest car park in January, and took top spot, with the on airport Flightpath up 2 to second.
On a year to date basis Direct Parking jumped up two places in January. The list now reads: Flying Scot, Parksafe, Airpark, Direct Parking, Flightpath and Security.
Leeds Bradford Airport: the off airport Sentinel Leeds Bradford airport parking beat the Airport Garage Leeds Bradford airport parking into second place by a big margin again in January. Sentinel has been top for the last 13 months running; it is top year to date by a margin of now more than 5 : 1.
Liverpool Airport: Liverpool on airport parking just beat the off airport Skypark Liverpool airport parking in to second place in January. The Imagine Liverpool airport parking was in third place again. On a year to date basis they are in the same order.
Luton Airport:
1. Airparks Luton airport parking - no change
2. Central Car Storage Luton airport parking - no change
3. Alpha Car Storage Luton Airport Parking - no change
4. Luton Airport Meet and Greet parking - no change
5. Luton On Airport Long Term Parking - no change
6. Luton On Airport Short Term Parking - no change
7. Luton On Airport Mid Stay Parking - no change
No changes at Luton airport in January, with Airparks remaining top by a good margin (around 4 times the sales of the number 2 car park) - with great prices but a longer transfer time than Central Car and Alpha Car. On a year to date basis it is Airparks, Central Car, Alpha Car, Meet and Greet, on airport mid stay, long stay, then short stay.
Newcastle Airport: in a busy month Park and Fly Newcastle airport parking kept top spot, followed by Callerton Newcastle airport parking then Bellair Newcastle airport parking and the Newcastle on airport parking. On a 13 months to date basis Park and Fly leads from On airport parking, then Callerton and Bellair.
Prestwick Airport: Watsons Ayr Park Prestwick airport retained top spot from the Prestwick on airport parking.
Southampton Airport: Pink Elephant Southampton airport parking beat the Southampton on airport parking and the on airport Premier Southampton airport parking (the single long stay airport car park is split into 3 'zones' all called something different) to take the top spot.
