Helicopter emergency at Aberdeen Airport

A helicopter heading to the North Sea has landed safely after a full emergency was declared at Aberdeen Airport. Grampian Fire and Rescue Service, the Scottish Ambulance Service and Grampian Police were all alerted and rushed to the scene.
The ‘precautionary’ return to base happened after the Bristow helicopter reported a warning light on yesterday morning. There were 19 people on board the EC225 helicopter at the time of the incident.
