Aberdeen Airport helicopter emergency
25.05.10
A full emergency was declared at Aberdeen Airport yesterday after a North Sea helicopter reported a fault. The Super Puma, with 16 people on board, reported an indicator warning light had come on.
Fire crews, as well as Scottish Ambulance Service and Grampian Police crews, were sent to the scene as a precaution. However, the helicopter landed safely at about 08:45, with all on board leaving the helicopter safely.
