Passengers parking their car at Aberdeen Airport will have a clearer view of what they are doing, thanks to new lighting installations. FHR reports that the forecourt at the airport has been fitted with 120 watt LED fittings on ten metre columns. The lights were fitted to help passengers and also for security considerations.
The nw lights will last around 31 years, the fittings have a life span of 100,000 hours and they will shave 55 percent off operating costs. Roger Arnott, project manager, said the light change was the difference between ‘night and day’. He said that the lighting quality was ‘superb’.
