1000 evacuated as burning toast sets off Aberdeen Airport fire alarm

Over 1,000 passengers and staff were evacuated from Aberdeen Airport because of a burned slice of toast. They were sent out into the airport's short stay car park after fire sirens sounded yesterday.
Passengers on board a flight from Aberdeen to Manchester were also held up after the aircraft was forced to sit on the runway due to the fire alarm. But the emergency was cancelled after Fire Crews discovered the 'breakfast blunder', the Evening News reports.
