Smokers plan at Aberdeen Airport

Smokers waiting to fly out of Aberdeen Airport could be allowed to light up in a special area outside the terminal in a bid to stop passengers setting off fire alarms, the Evening Express reports.
Bosses at the airport are considering putting up outdoor shelters or creating a special area for smokers once people have been through security checks after several instances of smoke alarms being set off by passengers having a crafty cigarette in toilets. Another UK airport operates a similar smoking area, but charges passengers to use it.
