Aberdeen Airport has busy conference week

Thousands of passengers travelled through Aberdeen Airport in September to take part in Offshore Europe, BAA have announced. The popular conference saw more than 82,000 passengers use the hub during one week. However, this was 10,000 fewer than in 2007 for the same event.
Kevin Brown, managing director at Aberdeen Airport, said the figures were ‘very encouraging. It was an incredibly busy week in the terminal and a lot of hard work went in to preparing it.'
