Record breaking July at Aberdeen Airport

Aberdeen Airport is continuing to enjoy record-breaking passenger numbers according to latest figures. However, the airport has suffered a number of blows recently, as airlines have withdrawn six routes from Aberdeen.
In July Aberdeen passengers were up by 10.6% to 325,579. Since January, the airport has handled around two million passengers - again 10% more than over the course of the same seven-month period in 2006. The numbers mean that Aberdeen Airport has been BAA's fastest growing UK airport for the last 13 consecutive months.
