Aberdeen Airport drug smugger jailed

A passenger who swallowed cocaine worth about £25,000 in a bid to smuggle it through Aberdeen Airport has been jailed for two years.
Andrejus Sabrovas, 26, had swallowed dozens of small packages, which could have killed him if even one had split. He arrived at Aberdeen Airport from Amsterdam in July this year. The Lithuanian national was jailed at Aberdeen Sheriff Court after he admitted the crime.
