Aberdeen Airport car park work begins

Work on a major car parking project is starting at Aberdeen Airport, the latest stage in the redevelopment of the hub.
The work will begin on an area of the short-stay car park, which will allow for work to start on a new parking deck. The £5m multi-storey car park will provide about 500 additional spaces.
The airport wants to further expand its car parks after this project is complete, and build two new airport hotels. This is in addition to a new off airport car park with just over 1000 spaces, approved by planners last month.
