Stansted passenger parks car on homeowners drive !

A man living near Stansted Airport was stunned to find a passenger had left his car on his driveway before taking a flight, the Herts & Essex Observer reports. Oliver Pocknell returned from a day out with his wife and two children last Saturday to find a blue Mazda MX5 on the drive outside their semi-detached home in Sunnyside, Stansted.
The car had been left earlier that day by a man carrying a Ryanair ticket. He asked Mr Pocknells’ neighbour for a taxi firm’s number and even borrowed his mobile phone to make the call because he was in a rush!
Mr Pocknell told the newspaper: ‘I find it stunning that someone would have the gall to do this. We run our business from home and need the space. It’s been a real inconvenience.’
The couple have been advised by police that the Mazda’s registered keeper lives in London. They can have it towed away at their own expense – however, if any damage is caused they could be prosecuted.
Mr Pocknell added: 'We have no idea when this guy’s going to return and all we’ve been allowed to do is immobilise the car, so we’ve put a chain through the axle. I’ve put a note on it saying he needs to knock on our door to have the car released and if we’re not in then he’ll just have to wait. Whenever he turns up I’ll be giving him a piece of my mind.’
