Rock royalty at Southampton Airport
22.12.10
Some of the biggest names in rock were at Southampton Airport yesterday, after their flight was diverted due to the weather, the Daily Echo reports. Lead singer of U2, Bono and British band Muse had their flight from Dubai to Dublin redirected to Southampton because of snow in the Irish capital.
U2 have just finished the Australian leg of their U2:360 World Tour, whilst
Muse have also been playing Down Under on their Resistance tour. The private jet spent 90 minutes at Southampton Airport, before taking off for Shannon, on Ireland's west coast.
