Eastern add Southampton – Aberdeen flights

Eastern Airways is introducing additional flights from Southampton Airport to Aberdeen. The airline, which introduced Southampton – Aberdeen services in 2005, will increase flights from two to three each weekday in both directions from September 5.
Weekday flights will leave Southampton at 06:50 (Monday only), 09:05 (Tue-Fri), 11:20 (Monday only), 14:10 (Tue-Thu), 16:35 (Friday only) and 18:45 (Mon-Thu). From Aberdeen weekday flights will depart at 06:50 (Tue-Fri), 09:05 (Monday only), 11:50 (Tue-Thu), 14:15 (Friday only), 16:30 (Mon-Thu) and 18:55 (Friday only). A Sunday service will also continue to be offered to Aberdeen from Southampton.
The news comes less than a week after the airline announced that it would axe its Durham Tees Valley flights from Southampton Airport next month.
