Queen makes flying visit to Southampton Airport

Southampton Airport received a royal visit this week when the Queen touched down. Her majesty was passing through the airport on her way to name the new Queen Elizabeth cruise liner.
Southampton Airport's managing director Dave Lees welcomed the Queen on the red carpet on arrival. The aircraft's captain also thanked air traffic control at the hub for ensuring that the flight landed on schedule.
