Two men who tried to bring weapons including an electronic stun gun, pepper spray and a knuckle-duster into the UK via Robin Hood Airport have been jailed.
Jonathon Sutton-Kirkby, 23, of Duke of York Avenue, Wakefield, and Frederick Ayres, 28, of Bloemfontein Street, Cudworth, near Barnsley, were found carrying the weapons after a flight from Bulgaria. Both men were jailed for two-and-a-half years at Doncaster Crown Court earlier this week on charges of possessing an offensive weapon and to possessing a firearm.
