Robin Hood Airport's new pub is called the 'windmill'

Holidaymakers travelling though Robin Hood Airport can now enjoy a preflight drink thanks to the opening of airport's first pub. The Finningley Windmill bar opened its doors to customers for the first time yesterday following a £600,000 building project at the Doncaster airport.
The JD Wetherspoon pub is run by Terry and Joanne Hubbard and their staff, and has a view across the runway. It takes its name from the windmill which occupied part of the Finningley site before it became an RAF airbase.
The pub is the first of two planned for Robin Hood airport. The Amy Johnson bar is set to open in the arrivals hall on November 12. Both will be completely non-smoking throughout.
