Robin Hood Airport Security Alert

A twenty year old man was detained by Robin Hood Airport Security Staff on Wednesday, until police arrived to arrest him. The man was found to have a canister of pepper spray in his luggage.

In the UK, pepper spray is classed as an offensive weapon, the sale and possession of pepper spray is illegal. The man, who was attempting to fly to Prague, was cautioned by police.

The spray can cause temporary blindness on contact with the eyes along with severe skin irritation, difficulty breathing, and gagging.
