17.10.09
Passengers have been travelling on flights to and from Robin Hood Airport for 100 years. The Yorkshire airport is commemorating a century of flights and as part of the celebrations, visitors at the airport this weekend will be able to travel on a pleasure flight on a De Havilland Dragon Rapide.
Jodi Stow, marketing and communications manager for Robin Hood Airport, said: ‘We couldn't just let 100 years of flying in Doncaster pass without doing something special to mark the occasion.’
