New Prestwick Airport - Amsterdam flights announced

Plans for new flights between Prestwick airport and Amsterdam have been announced. Low-cost airline Transavia plans to operate the flights six days a week starting on March 26.
Prestwick Airport managing director Steve Fitzgerald said: 'We are absolutely delighted to attract a new low-cost carrier to Glasgow Prestwick. It's another terrific development for the airport.'
'Our policy has always been to bring attractive new services to the airport. Transavia, an established international airline, allows us to offer another fantastic short-break destination.'
Transavia chief executive Onno van den Brink said: 'We are delighted to announce our first-ever flight linking Holland to Scotland and look forward to welcoming many new customers to our flights.'
