Ryanair announce Prestwick – Malta flights
12.02.11
Prestwick Airport is to gain a new service to Malta this summer from low-cost airline Ryanair. Taking off on April 14, the service will run twice weekly, with tickets starting from £32.00 one way, including taxes. Seats for the new route are already on sale and those booking the flights will also receive free rail travel to Prestwick Airport.
A spokesman for the airport said: ‘We are delighted to have another hugely popular sunshine destination at Prestwick. Scots love Malta because of its climate and culture and we are confident it will be a huge success, particularly given Ryanair's great low fares.’
To take advantage of the rail offer passengers simply present their flight confirmation at a First ScotRail Ticket Office and receive a free voucher for travel to and from the airport from any location in Scotland.
