Deli builds local brand presence at Prestwick Airport

A drive to encourage more local brands to operate at Prestwick Airport is begining to take off, with the arrival of Glasgow deli chain Peckham's at the terminal. Sited in the terminal's central concourse area, the shop will offer the chain's trademark speciality produce, such as premium wines, seafood, game and fine malt whiskies.
The company, which operates 12 stores across the central belt, has opened a first airport store at Prestwick. It is designed to be used by passengers as well as regular customers, and includes a gift shop selling Scottish items such as shortbread, oatcakes, and traditional relishes and preserves.
