Norwich Airport enjoys Bank Holidays boost

Norwich Airport has seen passenger numbers soar over the recent bank holidays, the EDP reports. Passenger numbers on holiday flights over the last two weeks rose by almost 60 percent compared to the same period last year, as travellers took advantage of the series of bank holidays.
Andrew Bell, the airport's chief executive, said: ‘I am really pleased that so many local people took advantage of the opportunity to take an 11 day break using just 3 days’ annual leave and to jet off for some spring sunshine from their local airport.’
