Extra flights from Newcastle and Birmingham to Isle of Man for centenary TT

UK regional airline Eastern Airways is adding 12 flights to its schedule to the Isle of Man from Newcastle and Birmingham airports due to high demand for flights during the TT centenary festival. The award winning airline will introduce extra Saturday flights on 26 May, 2 June and 9 June to the Isle of Man from Newcastle and Birmingham.
The Saturday flights will depart Newcastle at 07:30 arriving on the Isle of Man at 08:30. Return flights leave the Isle of Man at 12:00, landing in Newcastle at 13:00. Services to Birmingham will leave the Isle of Man at 09:00, arriving at 10:00. From Birmingham services will depart at 10:30 landing in the Isle of Man at 11:30.
Andy Mathieson, Eastern Airways' general manager Isle of Man, said: 'Some of our flights are already full during this period with others filling up fast. We would encourage people to book early on our extra services from Newcastle and Birmingham.'
Eastern Airways has been operating frequent flights to and from the Isle of Man since 2003. The airline offers 34 flights each week between Birmingham and the Isle of Man and 12 flights each week between Newcastle and the island.
