28.05.10
Flybe is to launch flights between Manchester Airport and Kent International (Manston), its second domestic service to the Kent airport. The airline is to serve Manchester six days a week, in addition to an Edinburgh service that started yesterday. Fares between Manston and Manchester are from £24.99 one-way including taxes and charges.
The new service will be operated by the airline’s Bombardier Q400 aircraft and will take off on September 6. Flights will operate every day except Saturdays
The airline’s chief commercial officer Mike Rutter said: ‘Flybe is especially pleased to be able to announce this new route to Manchester from Manston on the day when we see our first ever flight from Manston to Edinburgh take off.'
