Manchester Airport wins industry award

Manchester Airport has been named the best in Europe in the sixth Annual ACI Europe Best Airport Awards in Milan during the gala dinner of the 20th ACI Europe Annual Congress. It picked up the award for the 10-25 million passenger category due to its ability to ‘add real substance’ to what it did, with particular mention of its approach to airport security.
ACI Europe, a membership organisation which represents airport operators said: ‘Ultimately, it is the airport's ‘passion for excellence in all that they do' that singled Manchester Airport out as the winner in this category.’
