Virgin Holidays launch brochure for Manchester departures

Virgin Holidays has launched a stand-alone brochure exclusively featuring flights departing from Manchester Airport, Travel Weekly reports. A spokesman for the holiday company said the new brochure aims to raise awareness in the north west and is thought to be the only one dedicated to Manchester airport currently available from a long-haul tour operator.
Virgin is hoping the programme, which offers holidays from now until December 2009, will increase sales through Manchester Airport by 20%. The spokesman said: ‘We've seen steady growth in the north west and it's important that we respond regionally by offering this dedicated brochure.’
