Couple in court over heroine find at Manchester Airport

A couple have appeared at Manchester magistrates court accused of smuggling £15,000 of heroin through Manchester Airport. Muddaser Iqbal, 28, and his wife Shabana Rafiq, 31, from Burnage, denied a charge of fraudulently importing drugs from Pakistan on April 5 this year.
Two men Rohaib Iqbal, 21, and Zaoheb Iqbal, 22, both from Coventry, appeared separately on the same charge. They also pleaded not guilty. All four were remanded on bail until October 29 for committal to the Crown Court.
