Virgin to open Manchester Airport lounge

Virgin Holidays is to open a V-Room lounge at Manchester Airport following the success of a lounge at Gatwick Airport. Its V-Room is a dedicated departure lounge for holiday flight passengers offering extras including quiet areas, family-friendly and fun zones, drinks and snacks.
Virgin Holidays purchasing director John Taker said offering extras such as the V-Room was one way in which the operator had been riding out the recession. He said:
‘We’ve been focusing on price and extras such as the V-Room in Gatwick, and now in Manchester.'
