easyJet and BA win awards

easyJet has been voted the best cheap flights airline by readers of Conde Nast Traveller magazine after achieving scores of above 90 percent in five of the eight areas used to assess airlines in the category. easyJet ranked highly across categories including value for money, range of routes and child friendliness.
British Airways also performed well, picking up the award for best business airline and coming in a close second in the short-haul airline category, which was won by Swiss Airlines with bmi third. BA was also third for long haul leisure airline, behind Singapore Airways and Virgin Atlantic.
However only one UK airport - Manchester - featured in the top 15. Best airport in the world based on votes by the magazine's readers was Madrid Barajas, followed by Vancouver and Singapore's Changi. Best airport parking facilities went to Helsinki-Vantaa and best airport shopping and duty free to Tokyo Narita.
