Alert for Luton Airport bound plane

An aircraft bound for Luton Airport was forced to return to Romania 15 minutes into the flight after a security alert yesterday. The Wizz Air plane, with about 165 passengers on board, touched down safely back at Timisiora in Romania.
Timisoara Airport is reported to have received an anonymous call shortly after the plane took off early in the morning. A Luton Airport spokeswoman said: 'The plane had to go back to Timisoara. It's understood it was a hoax call. The aircraft should have landed at Luton at 07:20 but arrived in the early afternoon.'
