easyJet passengers up 12.3%

easyJet's passenger numbers in February rose 12.3% to 3,390,523 from 3,018,910 a year earlier. Its load factor - a measure of passengers against available seats - dropped 1.7 percentage points to 85.3% from 87% last year.
In the year to the end of February it carried 46,752,084 passengers, up 5.2% on the previous 12 months. Its average load factor was up 1.0 percentage points to 86.1%.
