easyJet launch summer charity drive
04.07.10
easyJet, the UK's largest airline, has launched its annual in-flight collections for its Charity Partner, Alzheimer’s Society, the leading care and research charity for people with dementia and those who care for them. Throughout the summer, cabin crew from across the whole of its European network will ask passengers to donate any loose change and unused foreign currency.
Last year easyJet raised £442,000 for the charity. Dementia affects millions of families every year and the Alzheimer's Society supports people to live well with dementia and funds research to find a cure. It provides care, advice and practical support to thousands of people each week and relies on voluntary donations to continue the vital work.
