Fog hits London City Airport

Flights were severely disrupted at London City Airport yesterday, with delays and cancellations. The weather conditions meant departures to Edinburgh, Zurich and Rotterdam were cancelled, with most other services experiencing delays of around an hour.
The airport was already dealing with the backlog of passengers from Wednesday evening, when all flight movements were cancelled because of heavy fog. The mist and fog are expected to continue over London for much of today, with passengers asked to confirm that their flight is operating before leaving for the airport.
