New London City – Geneva flights to take off
24.10.09
A twice daily service between London City Airport to Geneva starts tomorrow, offering connections to Venice and Florence. Geneva-based airline Baboo launches the flights using 74-seat Q400 aircraft, with fares from £51 one way including taxes.
Airport chief executive Richard Gooding said: ‘The timing of the departures are perfectly scheduled for London City’s passengers to maximise their day in Geneva. The on-board product of the airline is excellent and we know it will be well-received by our passengers, who demand a high level of service.’
‘Take out the lengthy surface travel time to other airports, long security procedures and the even longer walk to the gates, and Baboo will also get passengers to Venice or Florence faster than any other airline from London.’
