Jet2 to recruit marketing director

Leeds Bradford Airport based budget airline Jet2 is looking to recruit its first marketing director. General manager sales and marketing Carly Brear left last year and the position takes up some of her responsibilities. The marketing director will report to CEO Philip Meeson.
It will be interesting to see if someone currently employed jumps ship, particularly to an airline that Ryanair's CEO recently said was a candidate for failure this winter. Of course there are a few airline marketing directors out of work at the moment, one from Silverjet and Euromanx plus senior marketing people from Maxjet and Eos.
