Jet2 boss confident on growth

The boss of Leeds Bradford Airport based budget airline Jet2, Philip Meeson, remains bullish about growth prospects in spite of the economic conditions., the Telegraph & Argus reports. He said the airline was achieving record trading, boosted by the introduction of new services at attractive fares.
Mr Meeson told the newspaper: ‘With a raft of new destinations launched across our six bases for summer 2009, we are confident that our winning combination of low fares and leading customer services will continue to propel us to the forefront of the UK’s airline industry.’
