Huge response to Kent Airport survey
12.05.08
A survey on the future of Kent International Airport at Manston airport has had a massive response from members of the public. As previously reported, the questionnaire, which is being run in conjunction with www.kentnews.co.uk, has been organised to assess the demand for the airport and its possible expansion.
Less than a week after its launch the survey has already received 1,800 responses, with the majority of responses positive. Matt Clarke, chief executive of Kent International Airport, said he wished to thank the many people who had completed the survey and said it showed there was strong interest in air travel.
He said: ‘The survey will provide us with useful evidence of what Kent residents feel is important when considering their choice of airport and a snapshot of which routes they currently fly or may want to use in the future. This will help us to best serve the county when talking to prospective airlines.'
The survey is being run with KOS Media’s www.kentnews.co.uk. All those taking part stand a chance of winning a free holiday in Majorca for two adults.
